SAFE-T System Comes to the Philadelphia Region Through New Partnership with Main Line Health

We’re thrilled to announce that Main Line Health, one of the Philadelphia region’s most respected not-for-profit health systems has partnered with SAFE-T System to bring expert forensic telehealth sexual assault care to its communities.

Beginning now, SAFE-T System’s teleSANE support is available at all four of Main Line Health’s acute care hospitals: Lankenau Medical Center, Bryn Mawr Hospital, Paoli Hospital, and Riddle Hospital; serving patients across Montgomery, Delaware, and Chester counties. Forensic examination services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, at no cost to patients.

For survivors in the Philadelphia suburbs, this partnership means access to the same level of specialized, trauma-informed forensic care that has historically been available only at large urban sexual assault centers, now available close to home.

As Dr. Sheridan Miyamoto, Founder and Director of SAFE-T System, put it: “This is a true partnership. Our goal is to make sure the on-site nurse feels supported and confident during the exam and that the patient knows that they are getting the best care possible.”
